The estate consists of a château or stately home in the neo-classical style, built in the 18th century, which is home to the finest silverware collection in Belgium, a theatre, an orangery, an aviary, an English-style park extending over 22 hectares with a French-style garden, and a lake with an island which can be reached by a highly romantic bridge.
However, the estate’s interest extends beyond its incontestable historical and architectural qualities. The Castle of Seneffe is used as a venue for numerous events ranging from the traditional to the more contemporary or even avant-garde. It serves as a forum for every kind of artistic expression and unusual attraction, across all styles and historical periods.

The Castle of Seneffe Estate aims to organise a wide variety of events, but always with the family in mind. Children are more than welcome: we encourage them to come for the sake of the exciting discoveries they can make here. Throughout the year, our Groups Department organises tours and workshops (in French and Dutch) on themes specially aimed at children. During temporary exhibitions, tours are specially adapted for them. Children between the ages of 5 and 12 can also celebrate their birthday at the Castle.

At the heart of the "Château de Seneffe", discover the drinks that were fashionable in the 18th century: hot chocolate, tea and coffee await you in the tasting room.
Open every Sunday and on public holidays between 2 pm and 6 pm, or by arrangement.

The Seneffe Estate has a wide range of enthralling cultural activities to offer your company in a superb setting.

For example, you can sample our chocolate tour, or submit to the charms of the seduction tour; both tours also include the discovery of the new recreated scenes for the permanent collection, “Grandeur and Intimacy”.

Afterwards, you can enjoy an aperitif in the salons upstairs (subject to availability), followed by lunch in the Orangery. In the afternoon, you can then go over to the seminar rooms for your working sessions, enjoying the park and the gardens during the breaks if you feel so inclined. Unless your company prefers to hold an evening session and savour the Château’s magical atmosphere.

The Castle can also be used for private parties, wedding receptions and so on. "Château de Seneffe" could well be the place where your dream can come true.
